Tony And Livs House Burned To The Ground Last Night August 30th 2006 In The Evening

I am sitting here in a state of shock, realising that a thing like this can happen twice in the lifetime of my family. I just thank God and my Tony, that our son Tony and Liv where not at home when it happened, but they lost Tippie, Just the thought of that running through my mind takes me back to the only thing that we saved when my house burned to the ground, was our little tiny dog Brutus he was only a little new pup and we were scavaging around my youngest daughters bed to find him while the house was burning down around us, he was right down the bottom of the bed under all the blankets it was winter.

In my minds eye I can see little Tippie, he had been abused as a little puppy, and he adored Liv and Tony never moved far from their side, because they gave him all the love and attention a little dog who had been abused could want. I try to understand why he never just got of the patio like their other little dog Zak the little devil, did but they where such different little dogs, all I can think of is the Tippie did not leave the place he knew was his security, and Zakkie who was the devil incarnate just knew to save himself, Tony and Liv where out searching for him last night they have not been able to find him yet, if it was Zakkie that survived the fire we are not sure yet, because the house was to unstable to go near.

Georgie will find out today that she has lost one of her puppies and all the little personal things that a little girl loves , I am so thankful that she was with her Mum at the time, but I hate the thought of my grandbaby having to see such devastation, as she will today sometime.

My thoughts go back, and I realise that all we have to be grateful for, is that Tony and Liv are Okay. Sharon just rang me Tony has been around to them, and taken them around to the house, Georgie is just devastated, my baby girl is telling her daddy that she will go out and get him some clothes to wear. They have found Zakkie but he was badly burned he is at the vets and has survived the night so hopefully he will make it through. Sharon is bringing my baby down home today.

Well they have the clothes they had on their backs, and their lives so they will have to build again from here, just like we did the last time. We are stong we are invincible we are family, we will make it through this time, just like we have made it through the loss of my husband and my childrens father, the loss of our other house, I know my son he will rebuild his life again, he is one strong young man and has always thought of himself as the protector of myself and his sisters and his baby girl Georgie, Liv and Sharon also. He is a Man that I am proud to call my son.
