Eighth wonder of the world? The stunning temples secretly carved out below ground by 'paranormal' eccentric

Nestling in the foothills of the Alps in northern Italy, 30 miles from the ancient city of Turin, lies the valley of Valchiusella. Peppered with medieval villages, the hillside scenery is certainly picturesque.
But it is deep underground, buried into the ancient rock, that the region's greatest wonders are concealed.

No not yet so much has been going on here at home, the baby is so close and we have had to make sure we had everything for her.
But i will be over there for dinner early next week, I will ring her tonight and tell her to go into my site and check it out and ring me back.

In response to my email

Dear Christy ,

Thank you for your interest in our Federation, we will be happy to welcome you to Damanhur!

As you may have noticed on our web sites www.damanhur.org and www.olamidamanhur.com we have many different programmes and activities.

Depending on how much time you have to share with us, programmes range from one afternoon to ten days, and can be adapted to suit your needs. Generally we work on group basis, as we find it is not only the most economical for you but at the same time the most rewarding.

We have visitors all year round, so it is normally quite easy to join up with a group programme by prior arrangement.

It is important that you to book your programme in advance, in order for us to organise your stay at best.

In Damanhur we have guest houses where you can stay, the offer shared accommodation, normally two/three beds per room, and shared bathrooms. Towels and sheets are provided - use of the kitchen available to cook your own meals. There are also organic restaurants, pizzerias, trattorias within the Federation and everything is organic in Damanhur, even the coffee!

Cost for a bed (shared) is 20 euros, a double room is 40 euros and a single room is 35 euros. Not always single rooms can be available.

If you are flying over or coming by train, we can come and pick you, for a fee. Closest airport is Turin which is situated about 45 minutes drive from here - cost for the ride is 45 euros. If you arrive through Milan, we can offer our taxi service too. In Milan there are three airports: Malpensa, Linate, Orio al Serio. If on one hand you get good air fares through Orio al Serio, consider that the airport is two hours away. Cost for the ride to/from Malpensa and Linate is 65, whereas from/to Orio al Serio is 95. From Orio al Serio another option is that you can take a train and reach the closest station of Ivrea.

Here below are some of the programmes available. We offer one day activities, 3 or 7 day programmes, as well as 2 day seminars (you can find our calendar of our website) and work exchange programmes (the latter only in summer time). See the programme for the visit in the Temple on the file.

With Love
